Anthropic is getting serious about the enterprise business. The company unveiled the Claude Partner Network yesterday — and put $100 million behind it.

What’s the deal?

The Claude Partner Network is a program for organizations that deploy Claude for their customers. Consulting firms, system integrators, ISVs — any company bringing Claude to market can join. Membership is free.

The $100 million goes toward training and sales enablement for partners, market development and co-marketing, and dedicated Applied AI engineers for live customer projects. Anthropic plans to scale its partner-facing team fivefold, with technical architects and localized go-to-market support in international markets.

The first Claude certification

Particularly interesting: Anthropic is introducing its first technical certification — the ‘Claude Certified Architect, Foundations.’ It’s an exam for solution architects building production applications with Claude. More certifications for sellers, architects, and developers will follow later this year.

Why this matters

Anthropic has primarily operated a direct sales model until now. The Claude Partner Network is a clear signal: the company doesn’t just want to build the best AI — it wants to build the infrastructure around it. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure — the big cloud providers have shown how critical partner ecosystems are for enterprise adoption.

Right now, in the middle of the Pentagon dispute and with the run rate crossing $20 billion, this is a strategically smart move. The broader the ecosystem, the harder it becomes to push Claude out of the enterprise world.
